Wild Pigs Expanding And Destroying The Mother Earth

This podcast is by Sidhartha Mohanty, Founder of Twik.World.

Wild pigs release CO2 equivalent to one million cars per year, making them one of the most harmful organisms on the planet.

They are particularly harmful because they uproot dirt in massive quantities, similar to tractors ploughing a field. This has a worldwide reach, and the ramifications for carbon emissions are fairly significant across the globe. Wild pigs consume the same amount of dirt as Taiwan. Oceania is the largest CO2 emitter.

Because soil holds a substantial amount of carbon, even a small amount released into the atmosphere can have a significant effect on climate change.
